OA Fun, Who Needs a Pool
When you have 10 kids affording a pool in the backyard isn’t an option. In fact, many common toys or extras around the house are limited. However with this family, fun, joy and love were always in abundance.
This particular day was scorching hot. My brother, the father of the 10, put a tarp in the back of his pick up truck and filled it up with water. The kids jumped in the back and started splashing around having a blast. The fun had just begun. My brother jumped in the truck and drove slowly swerving around the property creating waves. The kids were screaming at the top of their lungs, hanging on to each other or the side of the truck for dear life. The finishing thrill? He let down the tail gate —all the water and kids came flying out landing on their bottoms. You can’t have that much fun in one of those boring expensive cement pools!!
